Oh my gosh!! I made these for my son’s birthday party and I apparently didn’t make enough


 

Mini Ham & Swiss Ritz Cracker Sandwiches

These bite-sized sandwiches are perfect for parties, potlucks, or a quick snack. Crispy Ritz crackers, savory ham, and melty Swiss cheese come together under a flavorful seasoned butter topping. Simple, fast, and absolutely delicious.

Yield: 48 mini sandwiches

Cook time: 10–12 minutes

Ingredients

  • 48 Ritz crackers

  • 8 slices deli ham

  • 8 slices Swiss cheese

  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted

  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard

  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds

  • ½ teaspoon dried minced onion

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven
Set your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. Prepare the baking sheet
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.

3. Cut the fillings
Slice each ham slice and each Swiss cheese slice into 4 equal pieces (quarters), so they’ll fit neatly on the crackers.

4. Assemble the sandwiches
Arrange half of the Ritz crackers (24) on the prepared baking sheet. Top each cracker with a piece of ham and a piece of cheese. Place the remaining 24 crackers on top to form little sandwiches.

5. Make the seasoned butter
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, poppy seeds, and dried minced onion. Stir until well mixed.

6. Brush the tops
Using a pastry brush or the back of a spoon, evenly spread the butter mixture over the top of each cracker sandwich.

7. Bake
Bake for 10–12 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the crackers are lightly golden around the edges.

8. Serve
Let the sandwiches cool for a minute or two before serving — the cheese will be very hot!
