3-Ingredient Banana Oatmeal Cookies (No Flour, Butter, or Sugar Added)
These chewy, naturally sweet cookies come together in minutes with just a fork and a bowl. Made with ripe bananas, old-fashioned oats, and chocolate chips, they are the ultimate healthy snack for busy mornings, lunchboxes, or a late-night dessert craving.
Why You’ll Love Them
Minimalist Recipe: No flour, butter, refined sugar, or electric mixer required.
Budget-Friendly: A perfect way to use up those spotty bananas on your counter instead of tossing them.
Versatile: Soft, gently sweet, and sturdy enough to pair with breakfast yogurt or a scoop of ice cream for dessert.
Serving Suggestions
Enjoy them warm with your morning coffee as a light breakfast bar. For a heartier snack, serve alongside vanilla yogurt and fresh berries. They also make a lovely addition to a dessert board with sliced apples, nuts, and a drizzle of dark chocolate.
Ingredients
2 large very ripe bananas (approx. 1 cup mashed)
1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Prep: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mash: In a medium bowl, mash the bananas with a fork until mostly smooth.
Combine: Stir in the oats until fully coated and the mixture is thick. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Shape: Drop tablespoon-sized rounds onto the baking sheet. Flatten gently to about ½-inch thickness (they will not spread much).
Bake: Bake for 12–15 minutes, until the bottoms are lightly golden and the tops look dry.
Cool: Let cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Storage: Keep in an airtight container at room temperature for 2 days, refrigerate for 5 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
