Low-Point Slow Cooker Peach Cobbler (4 Ingredients)

Slow Cooker Peach Cobbler
Weight Watchers–Friendly | Serves 6

Ingredients

  • 3 cups sliced peaches (fresh or canned in juice, not syrup)

  • 1 cup sugar‑free cake mix (or regular cake mix, using less)

  • ½ cup unsweetened applesauce (replaces butter)

  • 2–3 tablespoons zero‑calorie sweetener (optional, depending on sweetness of peaches)

  • Nonstick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Prepare the slow cooker – Lightly spray the inside of a slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.

  2. Layer the ingredients – Spread the sliced peaches evenly in the bottom of the slow cooker. Sprinkle the cake mix evenly over the peaches—do not stir. Spoon the applesauce over the top.

  3. Cook – Cover and cook on HIGH for 2–2½ hours or LOW for 3–4 hours, until the cobbler is bubbly and the topping is set.

  4. Serve – Let cool slightly before serving. Spoon into bowls and enjoy warm.

Serving Suggestions

  • Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, a dollop of whipped cream, or a sprinkle of cinnamon.

  • Pair with sweet iced tea or freshly brewed coffee for a nostalgic touch.

Weight Watchers Notes

  • SmartPoints – Approximately 3–4 points per serving (based on 6 servings, using sugar‑free cake mix and unsweetened applesauce).

  • Why it’s low‑point – No butter, no syrupy peaches, and reduced sugar / sugar‑free mix keep the points down.

Tips & Variations

  • Fruit swap – Try sliced apples, cherries, or a mix of berries in place of peaches.

  • Extra crunch – Sprinkle a little cinnamon or a handful of oats over the applesauce before cooking.

  • No slow cooker? – Bake in a covered baking dish at 350°F for 30–40 minutes, then uncover for the last 10 minutes to lightly brown the top.
