Serves 6–8

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground Italian sausage (mild or hot)

  • 1 jar (20–24 oz) creamy Alfredo sauce

  • 1 package (20–24 oz) refrigerated cheese tortellini (uncooked)

Directions

  1. Preheat – Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13‑inch baking dish.

  2. Cook the sausage – In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the sausage, breaking it up with a spoon, until fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.

  3. Combine – Stir the Alfredo sauce into the skillet and warm for 1–2 minutes. Add the uncooked tortellini and toss until evenly coated.

  4. Bake – Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 20–25 minutes, until the tortellini is tender and the sauce is bubbling.

  5. Finish – Remove the foil and bake for another 5–10 minutes, until the top is lightly golden. Let rest for about 5 minutes before serving.

  • Garlic bread or soft dinner rolls (perfect for soaking up the sauce)
